DHUMA
MAP KEY
Capital city of Dhuma and primary seat of governance. A dense, lantern-lit city of narrow streets and gothic architecture, resting beneath the elevated rise of the Nocturne Palace.
Ruling seat of Dhuma, elevated above Velmora. Known for its towering bell spire, open-arched design, and role in hosting realm gatherings that preserve emotional balance across the land.
A sworn order stationed within the Palace tasked with maintaining balance and protecting key points of power across the realms. Often accompanied by Gaushan units, their presence marks areas of significance where stability, authority, or protection is required.
Rolling heartlands of Dhuma where the land softens into open terrain. These fields sustain the realm through cultivation, including staple crops such as Rava, and are home to grazing Mosslings.
Concentrated growths of silver moss within the Gloamfields. The moss is harvested for medicinal use, particularly in the treatment of Dimming, and is one of Dhuma’s primary trade resources.
Primary river of Dhuma, originating in the Umbral and winding through the Gloamfields before emptying into the Sable Basin. Its waters reflect the realm’s silver light.
Primary inter-realm Portal Gate of Dhuma. Located near the main road leading from Velmora, this structured stone arch serves as the primary point of entry for travelers between realms.
A shadow-dense region of twisted woodland where light from the Lantern of Dhuma struggles to reach the ground. The Umbral is the origin point of the Duskflow river.
Elevated noble region of Dhuma, home to estates and manor houses belonging to the realm’s ruling families. The land rises above the city, overlooking Velmora.
A working mill settlement positioned along the Duskflow. The surrounding structures support the processing of grain, root crops, and other resources gathered from the Gloamfields.
Primary trade district within Velmora. A network of narrow streets lined with stalls and vendors, where goods from across Dhuma—including silver moss, agricultural produce, and crafted materials—are exchanged.
A high cliff overlook above the Sable Basin. Known for its sweeping view across the dark waters and mist, it serves as a natural vantage point along the basin’s edge.
A vast, dark body of water collecting the flow of the Duskflow river. Mist rises constantly from its surface, and its depth remains largely unmeasured.
Dock settlement along the edge of the Sable Basin. Fishing vessels and trade boats depart from its piers, supplying Velmora with basin fish, eels, and other water-sourced goods.
Secondary Portal Gate of Dhuma, located nearer the Umbral. Older and less traveled than Duskgate, it offers a quieter and more remote passage between realms.
