MAP KEY
The Realm of Illusion. Iraya is a luminous, conscious realm of reflective water, structured beauty, and intentional design, where harmony, perception, and elegance shape both the land and those who dwell within it.
Seat of Iraya’s ruler and the palace of the realm, Miralai Santhara rises above the land in radiant elegance. Built atop Celestine Rise, it overlooks the terraces, pools, and cultivated regions below, serving as both a place of governance and a visual heart of the realm.
The cultivated garden regions of Iraya. The Miradin surrounds the central waters in soft, intentional symmetry, where floral growth, paths, and planted forms are arranged with refined balance rather than wild spread.
A sacred retreat set within the realm’s reflective pool system. Miraryn Sanctuary is a place of stillness, restoration, and sacred origin, most deeply associated with the Miraryn Pools and the place where Elysande formed the Shaedren.
The elevated terraces descending from Miralai Santhara. Celestine Rise forms the structured upper region of Iraya, where the palace and surrounding heights transition into the layered water and garden systems below.
The reflective water regions of Iraya. The Bassenirs are formed from cascading pools, still terraces, and connected waterways that mirror the sky and surrounding land with striking clarity, shaping both the beauty and identity of the realm.
The dense forest region of Iraya. Foreya marks a wilder edge of the realm where canopy thickens, paths narrow, and sacred structures lie more deeply concealed within the landscape.
The primary permanent Portal Gate of Iraya. Positioned nearer the realm’s accessible routes and settlements, Eclora Gate serves as the main inter-realm passage into Iraya’s structured and luminous interior.
The older permanent Portal Gate of Iraya. Set deeper within the forested lands and approached less directly, Brumaine Gate is quieter, more secluded, and more closely bound to the ancient stillness of the realm.
The outermost reaches of Iraya, where the land softens into more distant and less-defined terrain. Sovayne carries the quieter boundary of the realm, fading into atmospheric space beyond the central cultivated regions.
A sworn order stationed outside of the Santhara tasked with maintaining balance and protecting key points of power across the realms. Often accompanied by Gaushan units, their presence marks areas of significance where stability, authority, or protection is required.
One of Iraya’s four villages, positioned near the realm’s more accessible approach. Aeloria stands closest to Eclora Gate and serves as an arrival-facing settlement where movement into the realm naturally begins.
A central village of Iraya set along the realm’s main connective route. Orimel rests within the heart of the lower waters and paths, linking surrounding settlements and serving as one of the realm’s primary inhabited centers.
A village shaped by Iraya’s cultivated beauty and quiet refinement. Briselle is closely tied to the garden regions, floral growth, lacework, and the softer crafted rhythms of the realm.
A village positioned near the forest edge of Iraya. Refayne stands closest to Foreya, where settlement begins to give way to denser woodland and the more hidden sacred regions beyond.
The central market of Iraya. The Marshen serves as a place of exchange, gathering, and movement between the villages, where the goods and crafted materials of the realm pass through its living center.
A guarded structure near Miralai Santhara associated with the Ember Guard and its stationed forces. The hall stands near the palace region, watching over movement through the upper paths and preserving order near the seat of rule.
An ancient sacred temple concealed within the wooded regions of Iraya. Deeply tied to the quieter and more hidden spiritual history of the realm, the temple rests within Foreya, apart from the more visible movement of palace and village life.
The main connective pathway of Iraya. Cheminar Path winds through the villages, sanctuary, and palace approach, serving as the realm’s primary route of movement while remaining natural, elegant, and softly integrated into the land.
