RAVAGER
Ravagers are Dimmed demons of Tehom formed through advanced Dimming. What remains is not reason or restraint, but a being overtaken by hunger, aggression, and the need to consume.
Their forms reflect that imbalance. Once-demonic features draw tight beneath relentless deprivation, leaving bodies built for pursuit, tearing, and predation rather than survival in any natural sense. They move with violent efficiency, driven less by thought than by compulsion.
Ravagers do not hunt with patience. They drive toward weakness, living Essence, and vulnerability, overwhelming prey through force, speed, and an unending hunger that cannot be satisfied.
When fully Dimmed, identity is lost entirely. What remains is a predator defined only by compulsion, consuming until nothing remains, including itself.
FIELD RECORD
Dimmed demons of Tehom formed through advanced Dimming.
Tehom
Humanoid predators reduced by demonic imbalance into a hunger-driven state of violence, predation, and compulsive consumption.
- Humanoid form tightened by internal deprivation
- Lean, strained body built for pursuit and tearing
- Features marked by aggression, visible hunger, and physical strain
- Presence carries instability and predatory compulsion
- Behavior becomes more instinctive than rational
Ravagers function as destabilizing predators within Tehom. Their presence introduces rapid imbalance, as their hunger drives continuous consumption of living Essence without regulation or restraint.
Unlike other Dimmed, their impact is immediate and physical. They do not influence or corrupt over time; they destroy. Left unchecked, a single Ravager can disrupt local balance, stripping vitality from its surroundings through relentless predation.
For this reason, Ravagers are actively hunted by Tehomian forces. If identified before full Identity Loss, they may be removed from Tehom and sent to Loka for attempted restoration. If beyond recovery, they are taken to the Pit for containment.
Ravagers are instinct-driven and highly aggressive, responding to weakness, living Essence, and vulnerability with immediate violence rather than patience or calculation.
- Sudden aggressive pursuit
- Enhanced physical force
- Relentless predatory endurance
- Instinctive response to weakness and living Essence
- Severe physical injury can slow or destabilize movement
- Poor restraint makes behavior increasingly predictable
- Advanced Dimming reduces higher reasoning and adaptive control
Remote wild terrain, unstable regions, and isolated stretches of Tehom where advanced Dimming has taken hold before intervention.
