THE CURSE OF CREATION
Humanity, the Divine’s Own, was given Earth apart from all other realms, a people unlike Angel or Demon, fashioned with choice and entrusted with dominion.
But mankind fell.
Through their disobedience, the Curse entered creation. What had been made perfect was stained by imperfection, and the fracture did not remain with Earth alone.
The Curse spread outward through all creation, touching realms beyond the mortal world. No part of the Maker’s design remained wholly untouched.
Demonkind became vulnerable to the darkness that formed them, their own essence turning poisonous when left imbalanced.
Angels, too, were altered. Their bond to those they served became burdened by emotions too great to contain, and in time many severed themselves from feeling altogether, an imbalance opposite to what they had been created to be.
From that day forward, all creation bore the mark of mankind’s fall.
