THE OPENING OF THE PIT

The first prison of corruption and the containment of darkness.

When mankind was cursed, the fracture did not remain with Earth alone. The imbalance spread through creation, touching both Angel and Demon, realm and bloodline alike.

Demonkind, formed from darkness, became vulnerable to the corruption within their own nature. What had once existed in balance began to poison them, and the Hellrealms felt the strain soon after.

In the realm of Zoah, the Pit opened.

It was not part of the original design of creation, nor had it existed in the first making of the realms. It tore downward as a wound in the world, descending toward Zoah’s core to contain what the Maker already knew would come.

From that rupture, corruption gathered. The Pit became the first and only prison capable of holding true evil, a place where torment, imbalance, and invasive essence could be contained beneath the realms.

Its opening marked one of the earliest visible signs that creation itself had been altered. What had once been whole could now break.

ARCHIVAL NOTE: The Pit is regarded as a post-Curse rupture in creation, opened in Zoah not as part of the realm’s first design, but as a containment prison for what imbalance would produce.
