RECORD SUMMARY

If you’ve ever met Aster, you notice two things immediately.

First, the male is impossible to ignore.

Second, he looks like he walked straight out of a magazine spread for expensive watches, tailored suits, and cars most people only see in movies.

In the human world he goes by Aster Guerriero, a businessman with more money than anyone reasonably needs. Most of that wealth comes from Seraphim Pharmaceutical, a company he quietly built over the years, specializing in advanced medical research and specialty therapeutics. The company also provides a convenient cover for several individuals who work alongside him, allowing them to operate in the human world without attracting the kind of attention that tends to follow people who don’t age the way humans do.

Aster presents himself as controlled, sophisticated, and perfectly composed. Tailored suits. Impeccable manners. The kind of man who looks like he planned every detail before leaving the house.

But the longer you’re around him, the more you realize the polish isn’t vanity.

It’s armor.

From what I’ve gathered, Aster wasn’t always this quiet. Apparently he used to be a smart-mouthed warrior who laughed whenever the opportunity presented itself. These days he’s more reserved—still sharp, still intimidating when he wants to be, but carrying the kind of weight that suggests he’s seen far too much to find most things amusing anymore.

A long time ago, Aster helped organize . He did it alongside who believed the prophecy ancient myth. Their goal was simple—prepare for the day the balance between Heaven, the Fallen, and everything in between began to shift.

Whatever they built back then, it was important enough that parts of it are still moving quietly behind the scenes.

Despite all of that history, Aster has one very obvious weakness.

Aster is , though the full story behind that probably belongs under restricted clearance. What matters is that he .

The first time I heard it I almost laughed, because coming from a man who looks like he could bench-press a truck it sounded surprisingly gentle. But the way he says it… you realize it’s real.

Protective. Affectionate. Almost painfully sincere.

Liv might be one of the only people alive who still sees the version of Aster that remembers how to smile.

Their connection traces back to , and through someone whose name still carries weight in every archive that matters.

He wanted her.

But wanting something and allowing yourself to have it are two very different things when duty is involved. Aster chose duty. From what I can tell, that decision is one he’s carried with him ever since.

Even so, he still quietly maintains the estate tied to , protecting what remains of that past without asking for recognition.

Just loyalty.

Outside of that, Aster spends his time doing what people like him tend to do when they’re trying not to think too much.

He drives very fast cars.

He drinks very expensive bourbon. Although I know .

And apparently—this one surprised me—he reads poetry.

One more thing worth noting.

Aster prefers hand-to-hand combat over anything else. No theatrics. No flashy weapons. Just the kind of quiet confidence that comes from knowing he can end a fight quickly if he needs to.

Which tells you everything you need to know about the kind of training he’s had.

And the kind of wars he’s probably fought.

So yes—the Seraphim might look like a wealthy businessman who enjoys bourbon and poetry.

But if you’re paying attention…

you start to realize he’s something else entirely.

Something older.

One thing is certain.

If Aster has decided you’re family, he will protect you with everything he has.

Even if it costs him everything.
